Bowls TAB is trying to reward bowlers with a 3rd tier points system when they win a tournament that has prizemoney over $10,000 (singles & pairs) $20,000 (triples, fours +) over the last 10 years. This is a working progress, click the button in red to view honour boards.
Decade of Distinction Eligibility
International Titles are rewarded Black Diamond Bowls TAB Points, this will include the following events whilst representing your Victorian Club.
Commonwealth Games, World Champion of Champions, World Bowls Championships, World Indoors, Multi Nations, Trans Tasman, Asia Pacific.
50 – 600 Points
BLACK DIAMOND
National Titles are rewarded Emerald Bowls TAB Points, this will include the following events whilst representing your Victorian Club.
National Singles, CoC Singles, Pairs, Triples & Fours. Aus Open Singles, Pairs, Fours. Aus Indoor Singles. Winner of Australian Sides Championships.
72 – 288 Points
EMERALD
State Titles are rewarded Sapphire Bowls TAB Points, this will include the following events whilst representing your Victorian Club (excl. Vic Open)
Victorian Singles, CoC Singles, Pairs, Triples & Fours. Vic Open Singles, Pairs, Triples. Vic Indoor Singles. Champions of State Pennant (Weekend & Midweek)
48 – 128 Points
SAPPHIRE
Prestigeous Tournaments are rewarded Citrine Bowls TAB Points, this will include the following events whilst representing your Victorian Club.
All Singles & Pairs Tournaments with prizemoney exceeding $10k and all Triples & Fours + Tournaments with prizemoney exceeding $20k This includes UBC, BPL & VBL
24 – 72 Points
CITRINE
Regional Titles are rewarded Ruby Bowls TAB Points, this will include the following events whilst representing your Victorian Club.
Regional Singles, CoC Singles, Pairs, Triples, Fours & Mixed Pairs
16 – 32 Points
RUBY
Club Singles Titles are rewarded Pearl Bowls TAB Points, this will only include Men’s or Ladies Club Singles Titles
